Katerina Gerothanasi

Katerina graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Film Studies (BA) and University of Salford, Manchester (MA in Screenwriting with distinction). Since 2006 she has written and directed several award winning short films that travelled to many festivals. For her MA Studies she was awarded a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). She has participated in film workshops (mfi Script 2 Film Workshops 2012, 6th Sarajevo Talent Campus 2012) and written three feature films. Most recently she graduated from “Serial Eyes”, Europe’s first Postgraduate Showrunner Programme at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB).
